Day 01 (Sat) JFK / CASABLANCA
Evening departure from the U.S. to Casablanca by Wide body jet. Dinner, breakfast and snacks are served on board your flight.
Day 02 (Sun) CASABLANCA
Arrive in Casablanca Mohamed V airport. Meeting, assistance and private mini bus transfer to your hotel. After some free time in your hotel, in the afternoon we will go on a city tour of Casablanca including the Habous Quarters, the Central Market, the United Nation Square and the Ain Diab Corniche. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. ( D )
Day 03 (Mon) CASABLANCA / Rabat / Meknes / FES
After breakfast at the hotel we will depart from Casablanca and start our drive Between Casablanca and Rabat runs a long ribbon of white, soft sand. Rabat is the setting for the Royal Palace of his Majesty Mohamed VI. In Rabat, you will see the Hassan Tower, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Casbah of Oudayas. Then we will continue to Fes via Meknes. In Meknes, you will see the gate of Bab El Mansour, the Moulay Ismail Stables and Dar El Beida. Continue on to Fes andarrive in time for dinner. Overnight at your hotel. (B D)
Day 04 (Tue) FES
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day city sightseeing of Fes, its monuments and its souks. The intellectual capital, the craft work capital, the most imperial of all cities in Morocco and pearl of the Arab World, Fes is where the senses are given a truly royal treatment. The Holy City of Fez is a jewel of Spanish Arabic civilisation. Bustling with artisans and merchants, city’s captivating sounds, fragrances and colours mesmerise the visitor with a constant swirl of activity. Your visit today will include the Tanners, Foundouk des Tisserants, Medersa El Attarine, La Qaraouiyne, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Souks (markets) and a carpet co-operative. We will also stop at the gate of Bab Boujloud, the ancient ramparts and the front entrance to the Royal Palace. At night this charming city’s lights will give you the impression of a sound and light show of the Old Medina. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. ( B D )
Day 05 (Wed) FES / MARRAKECH
We will have a leisurely morning after breakfast at the hotel. Then we will drive south to Beni Mellal. At the entrance to the city is the Kasbah Ben Kush built in the 17th century. We will then continue on to the Imperial City of Marrakech for check in at out hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. ( B D )
Day 06 (Thu) MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. Our exciting full-day tour begins with a visit to the Koutoubia Minaret -dominating the entire skyline of Marrakech. A landmark throughout much of the Medina, it is considered both elegant and simple in design. Continue on to the Saadien Tombs (the mausoleums for the sultans) discovered in 1917. We also visit the Bahia Palace, which is renowned for its maze of corridors and passageways; and the Dar Si Said Museum Palace, which has interesting pottery, leather and wonderful Berber artefacts. Proceed into the Medina for lunch. This afternoon explore the Djemaa El Fna (square), which is an important social gathering area for locals of Marrakech. Whether trading goods or walking and talking, it draws everyone from surrounding areas like a magnetic field. Everyone returns time and time again to Djemaa El Fna. Further exploration of the souks will take place for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.(BD )
Day 07 (Fri) MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for relaxing or shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel ( B D )
Day 08 (Sat) MARRAKECH / JFK
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to Marrakech Menara airport on time to board the return flight back home. ( B ) Note. Passengers taking an Egypt Extension will leave for Egypt today with an additional overnight in Cairo.
